I’ve shared a lot about my journey with skincare which has been something I just started taking seriously in my mid twenties. I actually stumbled in my first Sephora sale in spring 2021. I went a little crazy 🤪. These are some of the items that held tried and true enough that they are now empty and I’m waiting for the upcoming sale in November to replace them. I will link them all as the name below!
Summer Fridays Cloud Dew Moisturizer. I like a thin almost watery feeling moisturizer to keep my skin from getting oily throughout the day. When I found this it was an immediate love. It sits nice on my skin and blends well with the other items in my routine. Added bonus that it looks super chic on my bathroom counter. SF Cloud Dew Moisturizer is an oil free gel cream. The only drawback is that I prefer a pump to a jar because I hate sticking my finger in it and wasting product under my nail. It comes with a small application stick though which definitely helps and makes it feel a bit luxe. Overall, I rate this 9/10 and have already purchased my second jar. Cloud dew is the perfect description of how the product feels.
I went into Sephora looking for the Paula’s Choice 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant. I had read so many reviews online that this was an amazing product for blackheads/pore visibility. I used this product until it was empty and while I still had blackheads/can see my pore size (because I feel like it’s impossible to completely remove them) I felt a noticeable difference and plan to purchase this product again. I used it during my nighttime skincare routine. My rating is 7.7/10.
Oh how I love the Glow Recipe Watermelon Niacinamide Dew Drops. I am already midway through my second bottle since spring of 2021. To be honest I am verrrrry lazy when it comes to getting ready so I just want a dewy, glowy, natural look most days. This has been perfect for that p l u m p + l u s c i o u s skin. If you live somewhere that gets cold this would be a great to hydrate your skin in the dry weather. I use this as the final step in my morning skincare routine. Oh and I forgot the best part… the smell! This product is definitely more of a luxury than an essential step but for me it comes in high on my must have list. Rating is 9/10.
Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. This product speaks for i t s e l f. I was a long time fan of the MAC setting spray and once grabbed a travel sized bottle of this after hearing the hype. I was immediately obsessed. I swear it sets my makeup different than any other spray. Chef’s kiss :*
I’ve replaced this item so many times but I currently need a new one so I added it to this list. Rating: 10/10!!
I first picked up the First Aid Beauty Eye Duty Niacinamide Brightening Cream after seeing Viviane Audi demonstrate it on her Instagram stories. It works exactly like she showed it. It has an orangish glowy/sparkly hue that literally brightens your under eyes. I love this on days I don’t feel like getting ready (again… most days lol) because it gives you that extra ummph. I have been through two of these and purchased them for friends as gifts. Loving this has also introduced me to a few other First Aid Beauty products I love including the KP Bump Eraser.
The Caudalie Beauty Elixir was on my wishlist after watching the Madison Beer x Vogue get ready with me video. To be honest, I don’t know a ton about what an Elixir does but I did like the product. It has a strong unique clean smell and I have been using it during both my morning and nighttime skincare routine. It definitely makes my skin feel “clean.” I used it after toner and before moisturizer. Overall, I really like this product but I’m not sure I will purchase a second bottle just yet because of it’s high price point. If you want to try it first, Sephora usually has the travel sizes by the checkout. This is a great one to try during the sale like I did. I’ve heard a lotttt of people rave about it. My rating: 7/10.
